Hello!

First and foremost if you celebrate this holiday... a very
Happy and Blessed New Year to you!

I wanted to send something during this season, and I decided
to send out an article that has proven to be fairly popular
over the years.

The title is: 50 Things That Really Do Matter

I believe it to be a fitting piece to send your way during
the time when many have been reflecting on gifts to give,
thanksgiving for the current year and looking forward to the
year to come.

That's it!

Yours for creating beautiful moments in time in our world,

Lee

Article: 50 Things That Really Do Matter

Your Beautiful Moment In Time For Today Is...

50 THINGS THAT REALLY DO MATTER
(Short Shots On Living An Exceptional Life)
© Lee Wise All rights reserved

In my opinion, these things matter...

1. Listening enough to care and caring enough to listen.

2. Being a dreamer but not living in a dream world.

3. Saying "It doesn't matter" and meaning it.

4. Being a positive influence in any way possible, to as
many as possible, for as long as I possibly can.

5. Balancing justice with mercy and fairness with common
sense.

6. Being patient and patiently enduring.

7. Earning credibility instead of demanding compliance.

8. Valuing the wisdom of discernment, the danger of pleasure
without restraint, and the joy of victory with integrity.

9. Being worthy of trust and trusting what's worthwhile.

10. Enjoying all things small and beautiful.

11. Words that heal.
12. Words that help.
13. And words that encourage.

14. Forgiving myself for what I've done and others for what
they haven't.

15. Gaining what I desire without losing what I should gain.

16. Maintaining the passion of purpose while avoiding the
pitfalls of making hasty decisions with little or no
discernment.

17. Watching "You've Got Mail" one more time.

18. Enjoying life for all it holds instead of holding out
for all it has yet to become.

19. Giving praise without demands and encouragement without
expectations.

20. Hugs.
21. Healing wounds.
22. And helping people realize their dreams.

23. Knowing when I can, can't and shouldn't.

24. Laughter for the sake of laughter!

25. Leading while not forgetting how to follow.

26. Honoring the honorable and avoiding the painful errors
of the disgraceful.

27. Knowing the power of commitment, the rewards of self-
discipline and the meaning of faith in myself, God and
others.

28. Smiles -- lots of them.

29. Learning as much as I can for as long as I can.

30. Standing for what's right when everything's wrong, and
saying "I'm wrong" when something's not right.

31. Letting the music play.

32. Knowing I can and seeking help when I can't.

33. Just doing nothing at just the right time.

34. Filling my mind with all that is excellent, truthful,
full of hope, and worthy of thinking about again.

35. Kisses that say "I love you" more than "I need you."

36. Treasuring ideas for their untapped potential.

37. Caring.
38. Giving.
39. And having fun.

40. Refusing to believe lies about myself or others
regardless of the source -- including what I hear from
within.

41. Trusting enough to see good in people without blindly
trusting in the goodness of all people.

42. Success without self-absorption.

43. Showing I know the difference between keeping the rules
and listening with understanding.

44. Winning with dignity.
45. Losing with grace.
46. And learning from both.

47. Believing in all my possibilities -- and yours too!

48. Appreciating the wisdom of maturity and the beauty of
childhood.

49. Avoiding the bondage of bitterness, the deceit of wealth
without character, and the vanity of pride without
gratefulness.

50. Loving for all I'm worth because in the end it's worth
it all.

Yours for a day filled with beautiful moments in time,

Lee

I thought I would include this link again, even though I
know you won't be able to jump into the program at this late
date.

However, since there is so much excellent material, I
decided to list it again. I believe we can still learn a
great deal from the steps that are mentioned. (No, I'm not
an affiliate, etc: I just think it's good stuff).

My suggestion: try to digest what you can from the different
steps of action and apply them whenever you are able to do
so.

Personal Productivity

~*~*~*~*~*~*
PERSONAL PRODUCTIVITY
©Lee Wise All rights reserved

The acquired art of
aligning the desires of my heart
with purpose-filled actions
on a daily basis

~*~*~*~*~*~*

Reflecting on that which remains most important to me, I
would name the following as my top three heart felt values
or desires:

1.________________________________________

2.________________________________________

3.________________________________________

Looking at my up and coming week, I purpose to make room for
at least one of my "top three" by taking the following
actions:

1.________________________________________

2.________________________________________

3.________________________________________

Notations...

My habits develop one decision -- and one related action --
at a time.

Make time for this simple exercise and, over time, you may
discover an increased sense of personal satisfaction in the
weeks that follow.

All the best to you and those you love,

Lee

A Weekly Review (Personal Edition)

A BEAUTIFUL MOMENT IN TIME: WEEKLY REVIEW (PERSONAL)

Your thought for today is...

USING A WEEKLY REVIEW TO IMPROVE MY LIFE
Maintaining My Personal Focus In A Not-So-Focused World
© Lee Wise All rights reserved

"What a week!" you say at the end of a series of days that
went, quite frankly, very well.

And yet...

At the conclusion of another week those same three words may
carry with them a completely different meaning.

Discouraged and fighting off feelings of defeat, you hardly
have enough breath to reflect with a sigh, "What a week."

How do you capture the momentum of the good days or regain
any sense of the same when things don't go so well?

Answer: I'm not totally sure!

But I am confident of this: a good, positive weekly review
can assist you in...

*Capturing what went well,
*Helping you to remain "in focus,"
*Building for future success,
*Caring for others,
*And maintaining a positive attitude.

I hope that "My Week In Review" (Personal Edition) will
prove to be one of the many tools you use in your quest for
living the way you desire to live.

It is a unique tool designed to...

*Give yourself credit for "things done well"
*Allow you to creatively express your thoughts
*Give you ideas for helping others
*Pinpoint and attack attitudes or actions that may
prove hurtful to yourself or others
*Rivet your attention on the positive future you are
seeking to create

May you and those you love have a wonderful week,

Lee

Striving For Excellence For All The Right Reasons

===========================================================
THINKING POSITIVE
===========================================================

What top three things *went well* for me this past week?

1.

2.

3.

===========================================================
WHEN SMALL IS BIG
===========================================================

Speaking personally...

What "little step" of improvement could I make next week
that would -- *if repeated consistently over time* --
benefit myself, those I love, or those I desire to influence
in some unique way?

My Answer Is...

===========================================================
TWO QUESTIONS FOR OVERCOMERS
===========================================================

If I dared to believe I could...

*What would I do that I have not done?

And...

*What would be my first step in doing it?

My Answers Are...

1. I would do this

2. My first step will be

===========================================================
THE EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE
===========================================================

"Have I...

*Received any personal compliments,
*Heard of any positive results because of my influence,
*Been motivated by someone's success or generosity,
*Or encountered any information

That I should record for the purpose of remaining grateful,
being encouraged, extending my influence, or continuing my
self improvement?

My Responses are...

===========================================================
PATTERNS (Ruthless Honesty)
===========================================================

Being Ruthlessly Honest...

If I repeated the way I lived this past week for the next 90
days, would it be a good or "not-so-good" thing for my well
being or the well being of those I love?

IF MY ANSWER IS "NOT-SO-GOOD," THEN...

What will I attack *with a vengeance* first?

What is the main *emotional reason* for my attack?

IF MY ANSWER IS "A GOOD THING," THEN...

What should I reinforce by doing it again?

1.

2.

What should I record that may help myself or others later?

1.

2.

===========================================================
MY PERSONAL JOURNAL
===========================================================

Regarding my personal journey this past week, I would like
to say...
